FACILITIES

 

Our versatile facilities can be tailored to suit small and intimate parties or we have the ability to accommodate up to 200 guests in the Tweedie Suite or 250 guests in the Pavilion Marquee.

The Racecourse offers you a choice of Suites in which to hold your ceremony and reception and you have access to the outside spaces which is ideal for children.

There is ample free parking, no neighbours or other parties to worry about, and space for photographs and fireworks.

Both civil and religious wedding ceremonies can be performed at the Racecourse.

 

 

The Tweedie Stand – Licensed for Civil Weddings

 

This is a light, bright airy building with breathtaking views from across the Racecourse and Golf Course to the surrounding hills of the beautiful Borders countryside and offers a versatile space for you and your guests. The first floor can be used as one suite or can be divided into separate areas seating from 20 to 200 guests.

On the ground floor is a fabulous modern bar, with a hard wood floor, which creates the perfect atmosphere for an evening reception with dancing for up to 200 guests.

 

 

The Dukes Stand – Licensed for Civil Weddings

 

A unique period Georgian building dating from 1822, this elegant stone-built grandstand with private balcony can host small wedding parties.

 

 

The Younger Stand – Licensed for Civil Weddings

 

Enjoying extraordinary views of the racecourse this attractive glass fronted room can accommodate weddings large and small.

 

 

The Pavilion Marquee and Parade Ring – Licensed for Civil Weddings

 

A marquee is ideal for wedding parties of between 200 – 250 guests
