Ladies Day - Sunday 27th May 2012 

Fun, Fashion, Finale! The  Kelso Ladies day is set to take place on the final day of the season at the Border Track on Sunday 27th May, with Live Music after Racing in the Tweedie Stand Bar for all Race goers!

 

So ladies, get a group of friends together and start looking for the right hat and dress as there will be a competition for the Best Dressed Lady with the winner receiving a magnum of Champagne.  We have not forgotten about all you Couples so bring along your other half as we have special prize for the Best Dressed Couple. 
 

The first 200 Ladies through the gate receive a luxury goody bag, containing a range of fantastic goodies.
 

A Boutique shopping Village overflowing with products appealing to all race goers from Jewellery to Smelly’s and much more, adds another dimension to the day- complete with a shopping drop so there will be no need to carry all your purchases around all day!

 

There will be Live Music after racing to celebrate the end of a great season at Kelso Races and Louise Grey who heads the marketing team comments;

 

 “After such a tough winter, we have focused all our efforts into making the final day of the season a success, with a range of additional entertainments to enhance the race day experience we hope to attract an excellent crowd”

 

To Round off the day Kelso Racecourse have joined forces with The Injured Jockeys Fund to host a “Fine Fillies Charity Race”. 12 Lady riders who are all associated with the British Horse Racing scene will line up in the 1m6f Charity race, to raise funds for The Injured Jockeys Fund and The House that Jack Built who aim to build a rehabilitation centre for injured jockeys in Malton.

First 200 Ladies through the gate will receive Luxury goody bags.
