The Racecourse has a choice of two Enclosures:
This is the larger of the two enclosures with the newest of our Stands (The Tweedie Stand) providing extensive covered viewing to the front and a large public bar with self-service food and Tote betting facilities. In addition, the main Betting Ring (bookmakers), Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure are all situated within the Paddock Enclosure.
A Members Day Badge allows you access to the Main Grandstand with prime viewing on the first and second floors, as well as various bars and other stepped covered trackside viewing and also the unique Charity Tea Room. If you have purchased Paddock Admission and then decide you wish to upgrade to the Members Enclosure, we do offer a transfer badge which is available from the Club Office situated at the Main Members Entrance Gate.
Accompanied children 17 years and under are admitted FREE to the course.
CONCESSIONS (only available on the day)
Senior Citizens (65years and over) and Students (aged 21 and under) are offered a £3 concession to the Paddock Enclosure on production of valid ID at the turnstile.
Disabled racegoers are offered half price admission (plus registered carer if needed) and both Enclosures have raised viewing ramps and toilet facilities. There is also front row parking within the main car park.

As a Racecourse which operates during the winter months, Kelso Races fully appreciates the risk of abandonment due to inclement weather, and should racing be cancelled before the first race a full refund or transfer to another meeting will be offered. If racing is abandoned after the first race no refund will be made.
In the event of an abandonment, no refunds will be issued on the day and written application returning the unused tickets must be made within fourteen days to the Racecourse Office.
There is no dress code at Kelso Races, but most people dress "smart casual".
For a lot of people (especially on Ladies Day) dressing up is all part of the fun of going racing.
To enjoy all aspects of the Racecourse you will need to do a fair bit of walking around, so give particular thought to you footwear, and of course with our racing season running between October and May you may want to be prepared for the unpredictable Scottish weather!
