FIXTURES
We stage fifteen jumps fixtures during the Season from 16th September 2020 through until 30th May (TBC) 2021.
TICKETS
Kelso Racecourse operates with one public enclosure, allowing all racegoers access to the parade ring, winners enclsoure and bars. Annual Members has exclusive access to the Cunningham Room Bar. Owners with runners and Racehorse Trainers have exclusive access to the Owners & Trainers Marquee where lunch is provided. Annual Members, Owners and Trainers have exclusive access to the steps in front of the Younger Stand for viewing.
EARLY BIRD ADMISSION - £12 [£20 for Ladies Day]
'Early bird catches the worm' Make sure you snap up our very limited number of Early Bird admission tickets, giving you HALF PRICE entry (or better) on most days. Once they're gone, they're gone!
ADVANCE ADMISSION - £16 [£25 for Ladies Day]
Missed the Early Bird? You can still save £5 or more by booking our your ticket in advance (tickets £15 on all days except Ladies Day). Advance priced admission tickets will be available to purchase online and over the phone up until 48 hours prior to the racemeeting.
ON THE DAY ADMISSION - £20 / £22 (Premium Racedays - Saturdays, 6th Dec and 29th Dec) / £30 (Ladies Day)
Ticket's can still be bought on the day of racing at the main entrance. We encourage all racegoers to book in advance to receive our best price, no discounted or concessionary rates are available on the day of racing.
SENIOR CONCESSION - SAVE £4
Senior concession tickets are available on the day to those 60 or over (Valid ID required), with £4 off the on the day price.
TRACKSIDE PARKING - £10 (£20 Ladies Day)
Parking on grass is available alongside the finishing straight, approximately one furlong from the finishing line and a similar distance from the main facilities of the racecourse. The Trackside Parking Enclosure is the only part of the racecourse where customers are permitted to bring their own food and drink - to enjoy as a picnic while watching the racing. Alternative parking, used by the majority of visitors, is available free of charge opposite the main entrance to the racecourse.
TRACK 2 TRACK BUS SERVICE - £10
Return bus service from Tweedbank Train Station to the Racecourse is available for £6. Timings are specific to each race meeting and are in line with race times to ensure that you arrive ahead of the first race and depart after the last race to meet the return train service to Edinburgh.
Please note this must be booked in advance and an admission ticket is also required for entry to the racecourse
BOOKING TICKETS
You can book admission tickets up until 48 hours in advance of the raceday, either online, or by telephoning the Racecourse Office on 01573 221221. Please note all bookings are subject to a £1.50 booking fee.
Tickets will be posted out, when purchased up until 1 week in advance of the raceday, thereafter tickets will be available for collection from the pre-booked ticket collection point located at the main entrance.
No refunds will be made in respect of tickets booking in advance, except in the event of an abandonment before the first race (or if the event is designated specifically as 'Behind Closed Doors' as a result of Covid-19 precautions).
DISABLED ACCESS
Registered personal assistants accompanying one or more disabled visitors will recieve free entry. This is available at the gate on racedays and proof of eligibility may be required. Disabled racegoers are charged at the same rate as other racegoers.
As the facilities around the racecourse are developed over time, we are making every effort to provide easy access, including ramped access, to as many areas as possible - making the events enjoyable for all. Raised viewing ramps and wheelchair accessible toilet facilities are available on the racecourse. Front row parking, close to the entrance, can be arranged for racegoers who have specific mobility issues. The racecourse owns three mobility scooters which are available to be pre-booked, free of charge, by any racegoer who requires one.

ABANDONMENT
In the event that racing is cancelled before the first race (or spectators are not permitted as a result of racing 'behind closed doors') a full refund will be offered in respect of admission tickets which have been paid for. If racing is abandoned after the first race has been run no refund will be made.
In the event of an abandonment, no refunds will be issued on the day. Pre-booked tickets will be reimbursed electronically after the day. Tickets purchased on the day will be reimbursed following a written application, where the relevant tickets have been submitted within fourteen days of the abandoned event to the Racecourse Office.
DRESS CODE
While there is no formal dress code at Kelso Races, most people adhere to a "smart casual" dress code. Give thought to appropriate footwear - car parking is provided on grass surfaces.
For a lot of people (especially on Ladies Day) dressing up is all part of the fun of going racing.
